Regarding my Bad Mistake (TM), I’m researching all possible alternatives to lower the value of taxation. In talking to a lawyer friend of mine, I just discovered a law that might help, called “Lei do Bem”. Not yet, I’m hunting for lawyers and/or accountants that are experts on this law, and they apparently are few and far between. It’s not looking too good right now, but I haven’t lost hope yet.

Wire transfer costs to my bank, Itaú: R$105,00 (about 47 €) + 0,38% tax (about 17 €), which comes to a total of about 65 €. So far, *much* cheaper than PayPal.

my bank will charge between 26€ and 60€ depending on if there is or not an IBAN in brazil (you’ll tell me). So overall, a lot cheaper than paypal.
